We're a varied bunch of people, but our strong common interest is in outdoor activities – weekends away, day walks, and cycle rides. Our walks range from local and easy (typically 10 miles or so), to more challenging high level days in the mountains of Snowdonia, Lake District etc. A reasonable level of fitness is needed, plus boots, waterproofs etc as we do go out in all weathers.

New faces are always welcome, however our activities are more demanding than some other local walking groups. If this is not what you are looking for, it may be worth trying elsewhere.

The membership fee is £5 for waged members, £2 for unwaged members. The year runs from 1st November each year, and anyone joining after 1 May will get a 50% reduction.

Your e-mail is then re-directed to the club secretary who will post an information pack to you including our latest programme. Please allow at least two weeks for a response, this may take longer during holiday periods or if we are near the end of our current programme, as we will wait until the new programme has been printed.
